“By failing to prepare, you are
preparing to fail.
Benjamin Franklin.
Everybody wants to reach a certain level, or achieve a certain goal
in life and that's a good thing to do,
But where we mostly fall short is
that it ends at "WANTING" (which consists of mainly talking about it and)
and not actually "REACHING OUT" (preparing ourselves to have it).
“Give me six hours to chop down
a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe"
Abraham Lincoln.
Preparation is the state of making
something ready for use, preparations are typically done in an anticipation of an
event occurring in the near future. Now if what you want pops up and comes to you
right this minute, or second are you ready to handle it? We've all experienced the
"good" side of preparations one way or the other but we just name it something
else (guess?). There was once a student who mistakenly over read (reading out of
area of concentration) was fortunate when the out of point topic he read came out
a compulsory question. At this point" preparation" was termed "Luck".
I once read an article that defined luck as "preparation meets
opportunity" if you are lucky enough to meet your opportunity, are you
prepared? (Think deep).
In the Bible Matthew 25:1-46 says "Then the kingdom
of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom
five of them were foolish and we're wise, for when the foolish took their lamps
they took no oil with them, but the wise took flask of oil with their lamp. In this
case it cannot be called "Luck" in the case of the five virgins that carried
extra oil. It is purely "preparation" and the opportunity came. The fact
is if you are prepared, surely the opportunity will come, not as fast as you think
but surely...
“The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
H. Jackson Brown Jr.
Matthew 24:42 says that "Therefore
stay awake (which means remain steadfast in your body and soul) for you do not know
on what day your lord is coming. Even the kingdom of God the most accepting place
of all requires your preparation.
Preparation for what you want does
not necessarily requires money (people wait for that a lot), your main preparation
has to begin from your "mind" if you don't detoxify your mind, you cannot
begin to prepare. This could be little declaration in your mind and eliminate any
doubts. Nothing is impossible, if you open yourself and mind to the opportunity,
open your hearts and mind to your dreams and they'll come in one way or another.
