7 ESSENTIALS WHEN YOU TRAVEL.

How times flies, i believe a good percentage of us remember just like yesterday, when we shouted happy new year and changed stickers on our cars, but hey, we are in September and have rarely disconnected from work, even on public holidays. If you own any form of business or you work at a strategic section in your office, you receive work calls, receive and send messages, I am betting you haven’t traveled that much this year, but when you do, here’s a list of stuffs you need, that young professionals whose job involves much travelling carry.

1. COMPACT WALLET
A compact wallet is the first thing you should pack, because it will determine if you are making the trip and how the trip will look like. A compact wallet includes essentials like passports, Debut cards, I.D Cards, petty cash etc.

2. EXTRA BATTERY.
Our mobile devices is gradually becoming an external basic need like food we eat or the air we breath. When you travel there’s a huge possibility that you are going to talk on the phone, explore and take pictures, play games, browse etc, all this drain batteries. Before your trip ensure you have an extra battery or power bank. This may turn out to be your new best friend and also an antidote to the sickness called “Nomophobia” (This is the fear of being out of contact with your mobile phone either by being lost, out of battery or no signals)

3. ADAPTER
Irrespective of the kind trip, business or pleasure local or international, you’ll need to charge more than one device e.g. pads, pods, or laptops etc. Buy an adapter with a standard plugins as well as USB ports.

4. NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES
You’d want to block yourself out of the word and listen to the music of your mind or your kind of music and allow yourself to rest. We’ve written about a noise cancelling headgear, please screw down to read.

5. EYE GLASSES
Hey, you will need an eye glass to do small shakara", aside your normal correction glasses. A dark glass works fine, but that's what you like and ensure it’s cased so it doesn’t get destroyed.

6. SEPARATE BAG FOR YOUR SHOES
Rather than carrying an extra plastic bags, buy a separate bag to keep your dirty shoes away from your clean clothes. Buy a shoe that zips and can be washed and reused and then tuck into your suitcase.

7. SMALL MEDICINE KIT
Health kit is a must, and the kind of drugs you pack depends on your health history. When going on a trip carry a small kit of any medicines you will need. Not entirely syrup, a few pills there and there into your toiletry bag.
